Blessed Birthday to ADRI-RACH-EL

Yea! It's Adriel's birthday sharp at 1200 hr today. However, we celebrated his birthday along with mine even though it's slightly earlier by two days. At least we can save cost on cakes and I'll be in BJ during that time. It was really great. Daddy took all of us to sunway pyramid to get our birthday gifts. Dad is a practical person, he won't simply buy gifts for us. He enjoys watching us shopping for what we want and likes. heheeee... So we took Adriel to get his shoes in Jusco. Hmmm.. it was a Pallas casual shoes. It was rather cute and suitable for him. Why? :p heheee.. cos it's HEAVY, then he can't be so hyperactive lor. It was my idea but it was chosen by mom and dad. Adriel likes it too. That means I like it too. :) I was thinking of taking photo of it but camera out of battery. oooppsss....

Then, we proceed our journey for my birthday gift. I told dad it's okay that he don't need to get me anything. but he insisted cos he said once a while only k. It's not always daddy buy things for you. Come, I get shoes for you too. Honestly, I got too many pairs of shoes, but dad insisted. So, okay lor. Heheee... We went to Jusco, couldn't find the right size. I like the white heels so much. Oh well, my feet was too big for the shoes. So I couldn't get it lor. So we walked till we reached a shop named Padini Concept Store. Ah huh, a person like me who never go to big complexes to shop for shoes one. All I get are from small shoes shop or BATA, Buy And Throw Away. hahahaa XD old lame jokes! I didn't really like those heels at first. For two reason, it wasn't comfortable and expensive. I am well-known over my stingy-ness. Hahahaaa.. It's God's money and not my money so I am accountable over the things that I spent. Then, daddy has a good taste and he saw a heels which quite suits me. He said it looks nice on me. So I tried and tried to wear it. I couldn't. Then, one of the promoter who is a GUY tied the string of the shoes for me. One moment, I felt like Cinderella but I was too shy to look up so I just allow him. Dad was there looking and I guess he didn't mind. I think I took quite long till the promoter tired of serving me. Am just too fussy. :p But finally I got it. Hmmm... with 10% discount. It wasn't really bad tho. That was my birthday-shopping day. Then, we get our birthday cake lor! That's the most important thing to end everything well. Heheheeee... And Koh koh gave me an Olympus digital camera. I have been wanting it so much. Even though I paid half of it, I am still happy!!! *hugs* Thanks, Koh! Thanks, Kay Teck for the advanced gift. I like it so much. :)

ADRI-RACH-EL Birthday Cake

Till then. Heavenly Father, I wanna thank you for loving me so much these years. Thank you for guiding my paths and making my paths straight. No matter what has happened or occured in my life, You have taught me so much. Even to the deepest sadest pit of my life, You saved me up from the pit. I have been going through so much but I will continue to go through it no matter how hard or tough. Cos I know it'll be according to Your will. Daddy asked me how is that I can still be strong even though so many times I have been hurt and disappointed? Simple, all by God's grace. He has carried me through all circumstances. I may cry more than a thousand times, but Jesus has cry more agony than I do. Daddy and mommy said that they will always support and encourage me. I have learnt the best part of life that is to be my parent's pet or friend. Now I that I know I can share with them anything from A to Z cos I know they understands me more than anyone else. I am also glad they know everything! I am so relieved... Thank you, Jesus for the courage You've given me. There's no such thing as generation gaps, teens. You just got to make something good out of it. This 22th birthday of mine is memorable and allows me to step out with greater spiritual maturity. The greatest birthday gift of all is God's First Love for me and I just wanna keep loving Him. I have nothing more to complain or ask. His saving grace is sufficient for me. :)) Thank you, God and everybody~

Dearest Baby

I dedicate this to dearest one who has been been with me for almost 7 years. You're so cute, adorable, gentle and kind hearted. God has blessed us such a wonderful person into our lives. You have been our dearest of the dearest of all. His favourite nursery rhymes are especially Old Macdonald and Twinkle twinkle little star. Every time I try to sing Old Macdonald, he will put his finger on my mouth. Perhaps, I sang it very badly. But when I sing twinkle twinkle little star, he'll fall asleep in my arms. How sweet is he? :)
He also loves Veggie Tales and grown up with it since born. I uploaded a the song of the Cebu, his favourite one into my phone. At least I can watch it when I am not at home. I let him watch it whenever he is unhappy or just to make him more happy. Sometimes, he'll try to dig into my handbag or pocket  for my phone just to watch it. He's so cute.

Adriel, Your birthday is this coming February 28th. God has blessed daddy and mommy with your wonderful existence. Your birth has taught us how to live better to like Christ. He has taught us to live stronger day by day, He has said lean not unto our own understanding  but to rest in Him. He has shown us wonderful love, grace and mercies upon our lives. Some have put us down or discouraged us, but we'll never give up. All because you're the dearest of the dearest child of God. You're so special in the eyes of the Lord, You're unique in the image of God, You're safe in the hands of the Lord. He has created you to shine His glory to tell the world that all things are possible through Him. Circumstances that brought us down but we'll NEVER  proclaim impossible. We believe that you're healed, little baby. Don't give up, baby. You may not be able to express out your deepest desires or feelings, God knows everything about you even the number of your hair. He has also taught us to appreciate every little little things that He has blessed us with. Even a simple "hi or bye' from you means so much to us.

Little baby, Jie really proud of you because you've improved a lot by God's grace. Every time you say bye bye, I feel the joy in my heart. Jie will just shed tears but Jie has to control herself. :) Jie is sorry for not spending so much time with baby cos Jie always busy with uni work. But Jie wants to tell you that Jie Jie loves you so much, baby. You're a treasure in our hearts. When Jie has the time, Jie will take care of you always. Little baby, you have grown up so much yet Jie still treat you like a baby. Jie is shedding tears while dedicating this little note to you. Jie pray someday when you can read ABC and words better, you can read this note aloud to me. For now, let God touch your spirit to understand our deepest desires. Daddy, mommy, Koh koh, Jie Jie, Yi Jie LOVE little Adriel always. However, Jesus Loves You more than anyone could. You know? You're name is Adriel Tan Yuet Yang. Adriel means follower of God. Yuet Yang means Little Lamb. Your a little lamb who will follow his shepherd.  Jesus is our Shepherd and He will always take care and protect you. :)

HAPPY BLESSED BIRTHDAY, LITTLE ADRIEL.

*hugs and kisses from Jie*

Rae's Confession

God, I am sorry for all the sins that I have done. My dad and I are ruined because of all the mistakes. I have indulged in the things that does not glorify God. I have betrayed my own conscience to do the right thing. Both of us have come to realisation. Relationship based on sweet talk and intimacy doesn't work. I pray that both of us will be a better person in future. Despite of my ways, from Jonathan Goh to Kay Teck, I have learnt much from you. Would you forgive me? Thank you, Lord. You're so gracious and merciful to such sinner like me. You have taught me how to love a person wholeheartedly. But if its not your will, I will let it go, Father.

Dear Mr. Right, no matter what you've done to me or other girls, I forgive you cos the Lord first forgiven us. Till the day God affirms you're my Mr. Right, I will right here waiting for you. I wish one day I could know and see you in righteously way. I pray that God will reveal His answer to me. Well, I better be honest. Kay Teck, am not sure whether you're Mr. Right but I am sure of my feelings for you. I am starting to treasure the kindness and goodness of you. No matter what happened between us, I still believe God has greater things for me to experience and understand. Otherwise, you won't say "NO" to me. You said, "You see me just as a friend" I was insecure and afraid and worry for nothing. Indeed we weren't righteous before Him. Everything tumbled just like a building on a sand. Lord, if he is not the person, ERASE him off from my thoughts and mind. Let me forget who he is. It is not worth if it is not meant for me. God, you know better than and what's best for me. Lord, once I felt your peace within me and now too.

Kay Teck, you said, " you said you don't have feelings for me bot because chasing another girl or a girl likes, but because you wanna be closer to God". I hope that's the truth. Cos that just exactly the same reason Jonathan Goh gave me. Lord, I pray that You will help me discern what's right and what's wrong. I pray that I will not fall into the same pit again. Build my emotions and mental stability, Lord.

Same Age with Two Different Destinations

It was indeed the best time ever spending time with my family. We are united. Dad fetched Koh Koh from Muar and we enjoyed being together most of the time. However, I had done my very best to do what He desires me to do. I took the step of courage to pass the bible to ah kong. A first few times I was walking up and down to the kitchen. He was cleaning up some stuff in the kitchen and I wanted to help but he refused. So I tried giving him the bible with full expectation that he will accept it. But he didn't. Dad and Mom saw my expression. Dad was very worried that I'll be discouraged because of it. I wasn't discouraged but more likely being very sad. I really want ah kong to be saved. *sighs* He didn't say anything harsh to me yet he still smile at me. so I thought there's hope but nope. It was a beautiful smile from him. As a grandchild, I have never experience loving touch from my grandparents. Even dad's side has already gone. (I feeling like crying now) Dad and Mom asked me not to be sad and said that I have done my best. Maybe try again later. Keep praying k. Koh Koh said am very emotional. I guess so. I have been like that since I was born I think.

What I think about Ah Kong?
A hardworking person, quiet, sometimes fussy, caring and concern. I just prayed hard that one day Jesus will come and shine and touch his heart. Ah Kong, before you "shunned" me off, I just wanna say that Jesus Ai Ni. Ta hen xiang jing ni de xin. Ah Kong, wo men ye hen ai ni oh. He is Teochew but I can only speak Mandarin (thanks to my friends). Better than nothing right? heheheeee...

Today, we went visiting to dad's father's sister's son which is daddy's cousin, Uncle Daniel. We met up with Uncle Daniel's father. He is the late 70s about the same age as Ah Kong. He is diagnosed with end stage colon cancer. Well, all thanks to God that he is still surviving till today. The last time we met him was May last year. But he has grown a lot thinner and we spend the whole evening talking to him. As usual daddy always worried for people. He kept encouraging him to stay with Jesus and never give up. And always confess Jesus is our healer and redeemer. In the name of Jesus and by His stripes, we are healed. We got to believe in miracles. God has been very gracious to him and am glad he still never give up. He did say that he is bored of staying at home doing nothing. Hmmm.. nothing much we can do but to believe in Jesus. All things are possible for Him. Before we left, we prayed for him. I could see the wonderful smile on his face and he packed angpows for us too. He was really happy to see us. Dad said he will come and visit him again whenever we are free. Glad that he believe Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour. All things will end good in Him.

I have learnt a lot about persistency in prayer. The "ASK=Ask, Seek and Knock" is the key of salvation and victory. We just gotta be more persistent and never give up or fail. Just keep hanging on and allow God to use us mightily to do His great things. The heart of seeking requires a humble and sincere heart. Humble and sincere just like how children thinks. That's all we need to reach out to Him. ^^

A note for Grandpa

As i was reading my chronic renal failure notes; suddenly, a thought came into my mind saying, "time has come, grandpa needs a bible". (really random) it wasn't audible to me but it was strongly my conscience. i have strong belief that it was the holy spirit speaking to me. at the same time, i was reading the book of revelation as part of my devotion. i really desire to know and wanna prepare myself to anticipate Jesus' second coming. as i was reading, i also remembered i heard once about the consequences of not being saved and not knowing Jesus. I read one of Mary K. Baxter book before when i was working in Salvation. seriously, it was scary to be in hell. our flesh will die but soul and spirit remains alive for eternity. those believe in Jesus will go to heaven but those who does not believe in him shall perish (torture and burn)  in hell forever. i really afraid that my grandparents will go to hell. i really don't want it to happen... T.T

last year, dad preached the gospel to them and they persecute him badly. but i could see his perseverance. i guessed Jesus was the same too. so this time i decided to obey the holy spirit and bought a chinese bible for grandpa. i shouldn't be afraid of persecution too. i also talked to dad and mom about it and he said, "do as what the Holy Spirit convicts you to do". Cos i know we're Christian, we will go heaven but faith without works is dead. it doesn't end till here. God has lots of things to be accomplished, the gospel shall be preached to all nation. Yea, i think that should be the way. it's rather a great challenge to me cos i rarely talked to ah kong. i don't really know how to speak my mother language which is hokkien and i am well-known for being a banana. however, i believe God will use me mightily to reach out to my loved ones. if am not mistaken, grandpa is already 86 or 87 years old. Continue to keep grandpa in prayers...

Thank You!

Dear my beloved friend-from-far-far-away, thanks for being there for me. Though obstacles has made us apart, God has brought us together. ^^

Monday blues

i had classes from 9-5 plus everyday. gosh, it's really tiring. i almost went into my dreamland after staring into presentation slides. my eyes were so tired and malathi said she can see my eyes are becoming blurry. i guessed i was really tired, not becos am sleepy but more likely am thinking too much. perhaps, rachel, you've to stop thinking so much and stay focus, girl. she kept tickling me to keep me awake, yea.. it was effective for a moment, then i was "fishing" again.. hahaha.. life in uni can't be like this! God has put me here and i have to stay focus. Yea! stay focus. don't you get it, rachel? i have developed pre-operative care for tmr's lecture. i hope it's good enough cos my mind seems can't focus. sighs.. what has happened to me? ahuh.. then, i watched a couple of hannah montana episodes to keep myself more entertained and relaxed. well, it worked for awhile but it reminds me a lot of memories especially the movie.

i miss memories that i had. just wish time would fade it away....

CNY Reunion Dinner (Daddy's side)

i had a great day today though I was having bad and irritable bowel. i have been visiting the toilet since morning till midnight. i guessed it must be the "nasi lemak" dad bought me for breakfast. it was rather awful and painful but bearable. why great day? cos i had a great DINNER & REUNION with my grandma, uncles, aunties and cousins. it has been a year ever since i met them. hmmm.. rarely catch up with them cos life's been busy with family issues and uni life ma. most of my cousins have really grown a lot and made me reflect over myself how much i have grown so far too... >.< sounds like am aging.. yea, kinda worried that i might age too fast. dad was given the honour to say grace and i was given the honour to eat. hahaha XD super lame... alright, let's start..

well, pictures said it all. too many to upload though. for more, check out my fb then. hehehee~~~however, tis is sufficient to cherish the joy and happiness i had with my big big family. heheee.. great reunion, great family, great fellowship and great food and mostly, we have a great God! ^^ thank you, Jesus! am so full and overwhelmed too.. till then...

My Personality

Mysterious... oftentimes..., a loner. You know your true friends and only them are allowed to understand the real you.

You hide your emotions... Sometimes pretending to be always happy. Sometimes, not giving even a hint of what you really feel.

You search for love... you’re a hopeless romantic and every time you enter a relationship, you give your all and believe “this is the One.”

You appreciate simple things in life... You hate complicating things that’s why you’re typically up-front in any aspect.

You’re a stubborn sweetheart... You “love” him/her only because he/she loves you. If his/her flame puts out, you let go with no trouble.

You’re undoubtedly good-natured! Most of the time, people are confident to approach you because they know you will consider them.

You’re independent! You’re also risky just like the bajaken who sail in the vast and dangerous ocean to look for treasures!

Bits and Pieces Part 2

the new day has come, it's just the beginning. before the beginning, there's always the ending of the beginning of the beginning. hahahaa.. XD am crapping nonsense. not to be so serious tis time. more to resolute what i do, have done will do towards 2010.
i went to a home of people of various ages. i felt the compassion flowed through my heart. it was not from me but i noe God's love was in me. i always think how would Jesus looks like and such. compassionate eyes, gentle and pure heart, innocent lamb, persevere character.. how can i describe? indescribable i would say. ^^ i tot i would be fit into serving but God has not said a Yes to me. i wanna do something for God. just like in Romans 12 said. we offer ourselves as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God as an act of worship. but i wonder and wonder.. what is my gift? what can I do? God revealed his Word to me. Romans 12: 6-8 says,

we have different gifts, according to the grace given us.
if a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith,
if it is serving, let him serve,
if it is teaching, let him teach,
if it is encouraging, let him encourage,
if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously,
if it is leadership, let him govern diligently,
if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

it was tis simple i guess. am i thinking too much? act of worship vary in its own way, it juz whether i can see in different angles. sometimes i do take things too literally. serving not necessary in church, but in what i do for people. in ways that i can help my family and frens. why think so hard, rachel? be simple and not weary. i came across one of Joyce Meyer's sermon online. hahaha.. am kinda addicted and hungry for God's Word. looking high and low for online sermons. trying to feed myself with "solid food". come on, am edi growing up. cant wait any longer. the time has come. Jesus is coming. gotta prepare ourselves. she talks about real love. what's Real Love? hmmm.. feeling? emotions? affections? no no no... it's temporary. but when actions comes in, it's for long. how do actions correlates with real love?

love is patient, love is kind,
it does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud, it is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs,
love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth,
it always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres,
love never fails
....now these there remains: faith, hope, love,

and love is the greatest...

i always tot i understood the true meaning of love. but i was not rightfully understood of it. no one can gain my trust easily unless he or she work it out, i always being negative, i remembers my past too often.. see? everything is "I". that's when am self-seeking. it should the other party or individual. i have learnt to understand love. it takes time to continue and persevere on. i will continue to study, study and study the true meaning of LOVE. it's not as simple as ABC. i wanna to love and to be loved. ^^ *shy* that's each and everyone's desire. but truly, only God's love can satisfy us. ^^ glad that am found by Him.
anyways, lets see what fruit of the spirit i have in my heart.. hehehe...
Love: i have learnt the true, true and true meaning of love. sometimes u might think u understood but u r not. think twice before being confident. XP

Peace: i have been through so many circumstances. peace of God surpasses all understanding n we noe we can rely on Him. being self-denial or avoiding the issue does not solve the problem, face it and u will find peace within it.

Joy: the greatest joy is being with my family, loved ones and friends. actually everyone whom i noe and maybe dont noe. nothing can compared to anything in this world. it's an unspeakable joy which God has blessed me. thanks to my dearest one. *.- heheee.

Longsuffering: only Jesus knows how real suffering and agony is like. mine little one is incomparable.

Kindness: gotta work it out more, reach out and spread the good news. share the love of Christ. continue!!!

Goodness: isn't it similar? -.-?? help those who are in need. i love that. hehehe

Faithfulness: remain faithful and cling on the Word of God for wisdom, strength and more. it will always fill us abundantly. faith will overcome the fear in us.

Gentleness: ahhha.. am still clumsy.. gotta work on it too.

Self-control: Lead me not into temptation, Father. let not my emotions to stir up my life. rachel, be not weary for I am with you.

hey, ppl..don't just read k. leave some comments. there's always room for improvement and encouragement.
my 2010 motto:

"a year that i shall not be in want"

till then.. will tell u more later about 2010 k. happy blessed new year!

rae out for milo break... ^^

My Date With the Dentist

Yes and Amen! all glory to Jesus... Dad brought me to the gov dental clinic to get my teeth spotcheck. The dentist said I had few holes in my teeth. I was shocked and worried whether will it get worse. Couple of negative thoughts rushing through my head, ooo... Rachel, you can't have ice-cream *that's my favourite food*, You can't have this and that. Having high LDL already made me so worried, and this?? She said I have to come back for an appointment which 2 months later. Gosh, I don't want to have a foreign body in my teeth... I was bugging my dad to bring me to the private dental clinic for a second opinion. But it was expensive but I can't sleep tonight if I don't get it solved. My parents wasn't keen but I was determined.

Walking in a place I'm not familiar, unsure of the location, searching around..till I see a medical centre... Nope.. Continue walking..and I said to God, "God, let the hole in my teeth be gone, in your will, in Jesus name". I remember one of John Hagee's sermon, about The A.S.K formula for winners. I am sure you all know about this verse, Matthew 7: 7
A.S.K= Ask, Seek, Knock
ask and it will be given to you,
seek and you will find,
knock and the door will be opened to you.

The pastor said God does nothing until you start praying and when we ask according to God's will, it shall be given until you. If you don't ask, it's a guarantee NO!
As I walking and searching, I saw a Klinik Pergigian. Wow.. Praise the Lord. I didn't have any thoughts of "it's expensive, no money ah". Well, that's usually happens to me when I have to pay for something more than I can afford.

Dentist: Welcome, dear.
Me: Hi, dr! I think I have a hole in my teeth.
Dentist: Okays, sit awhile k. *she was attending to a patient*

I sat and watched tv. I wasn't thinking about my teeth at that time. Couple of minutes passed by.

Dentist: So what can I do for you?
Me: Errr... *money still a matter*... Dr, how much it cost? Do you have a student price? *I know it's embarrassing to negotiate, but I only have RM200 in my pocket*
Dentist: You're a student? We don't have student price. Consultation is 20 and filling is depends and 60-80 for one filling. Why don't I check your teeth first? That'll be 20.
Me: Ooo.. *i have so many holes, this gonna cost me*

She registered me and started asking where am schooling and such. Coincidently, her daughter wants to take up medicine in IMU. She thought am a medic student. Hahaha!!! She kept asking me about how's medicine and such. Thank God, at least I have some medic friends, otherwise I know nothing. She start diagnosing my teeth....

Dentist: Let me see and gurgle your mouth first k.
Me: Okays ^^
Dentist: Okays, hmmm.. *she puzzled*
Me: Is it really bad? *am having palpitations*
Dentist: Well, dear.. I can't see any...
Me: Huh??? *shocked* err... what you mean, dr?
Dentist: There is no hole in your teeth, my dear. I only see plaques.
Me: Oh, REALLY????? *I was rejoicing and singing thanks and praise in my heart*
Dentist: Yup, there's only a small catch.
Me: Really, dr? No hole?
Dentist: Yes, my dear
Me: * I ask again* Really?
Dentist: Yea... *I guessed she tired answering me*
Me: Thank God!!!!!!
Dentist: Why do you think you have hole in your teeth?
Me: Cos the gov dentist said so..
Dentist: Oh, don't worry k. There's none.
Me: Hehehe....
Dentist: Do you wanna scale your teeth? that'll be 80. *she wanna make money again, she's so funny*
Me: Err... that can wait right?
Dentist: Yea, but not too long k. Come sit down with me, save the 20 bucks.
Me: Huh? No need to pay ah?
Dentist: It's ok, you're a student anyway. Come, tell me more about medicine in IMU.
Then, we talked and talked. Finally, I got to make a stand.... "Actually, I am a nursing student".
She was puzzled again... She's so cute...

After this incident, I made up my mind to care for my teeth even more that I do now. It's precious to me. Emmanuel, God with us. He will take care of you every little little things from your strands of hair till your little toes. ^^ If you believe that God can heal you through Christ Jesus, everyday is a miracle to you. It was a miracle to me. My life has been joyful with Christ and you can lean on Him for his peace. Phillipians 4: 7 says
and the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts
and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Amen.

p/s: hey, people! remember to brush your teeth thrice a day since twice a day still can cause plaques. hahaha!! XD and floss once a day too.. Go for your frequent dental checkup yea~

Bits and Pieces Part 1

Hehehe... Finally sem 3 has come to an end. I was yearning so much for a break after the stressful life in hospital. Gosh, it was really the most tiring sem ever despite I didn't study much though. hehe.. By God's grace, He let me thru this sem. Well, I don't really bother much about my grades cos I am really thankful for A PASS! It wasn't because am lazy or didn't put effort into studying, but more towards seeking for His presence. Once, I was reading the bible till I can't let go of it. Honestly, I don't know why but am sure God is working something in me. He revealed many things to me and He knows am ready to handle those circumstances. I began to understand more about the life and character of the people around me. He thought me how to stand firm and not to allow surroundings to affect my life.

Thoughts and Questions which strengthens me:

1. How do I read the bible if am so busy and worried about my studies?
I said, spending few moments or hours with God is timeless. He will lengthen the time without you realizing. You will realise that "busy" is just an excuse of a human nature, "worry" is a lie from the Satan to your flesh.

2. How can I bring my boyfriend who is a non-Christian to Christ?
This is the hardest one. I don't whether what I said will condemn the person but I can't lie to the holy spirit. I was praying that God will give wisdom and grace to give an answer. I said, in the bible we are not to be equally yoke with non-believers. I guess that answer has hit the person. God gives us the freedom to choose the right or wrong. If we choose our own pathways, He can't lead us towards His will. Light and darkness? can they have a relationship?

3. Why insecurity remains in our hearts? (it's mine own)
It's because am not sure what going to happen in future, I didn't hold on the promises of God, I didn't read the bible with conviction in my heart. God's word prevails every single bits and pieces of us and for us to prepare ourselves. Jesus came and established God's heavenly kingdom on Earth and died on the cross for our sins. He has went through all the pain, suffering and insecurity for us. I started to proclaim the name above all name, Jesus Christ! Through Him, my insecurity is gone! We have to believe in simple faith that God has brought healing to us before it happens. Faith is believing. My parents faith has thought me to be stronger.

On the Nov 30th, I was having difficulties in breathing and my chest became tighter and tighter. I was struggling and rolling on the bed wishing that it will go away. My faith was challenged at that moment. I felt being strangled and suffocated. The night was a nightmare to me. Tears was rolling down on my cheeks. Both of my hands was holding on my chest. Dad and mum started to pray for me. They didn't even think of sending me to the hospital cos their faith on God was really strong. They prayed in tongues and lay hands on me. At first, I didn't get well but I proclaim Jesus name in my heart, pray that it will go off. After some time, I began to be lethargic and tired. I rested and slept peacefully. Hallelujah~ Thank you Jesus!
This incident has thought me that God is preparing me for Greater Things. I am a MIRACLE !

4. What happens when someone asked, "What is Christmas?", the true reason for this season?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His begotten son, whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. It's the celebration of the birth of Christ our Messiah (Saviour) and He came to redeem us from our sin and trangressions.

5. I have seen a believer falling away and backsliding... What should I do?
Honestly, I don't know what to do. He believed in Christ and started to turn his face away from Christ. This is a sign of crucifying Christ on the cross again. I could say am not strong enough but all I did was to encourage him whenever I can. I pray that he will open up his heart to Jesus and change with conviction. And to let go his past..

6. "I feel suffering and why I have to go through this?" said Uncle George
The Holy Spirit spoke to me, "Lay your hands and Pray for this man". My faith was weak and disobeyed the still small voice. I went back home with a deep thoughts in me why did I disobeyed the word of God. I questioned and condemned myself till the Word of God came alive in me. Jesus came not to condemn us but to redeem us from our sins. Then, I wrote a prayer and verse in Psalm 23 (wanna read with me? ^^)

the Lord is my shepherd, i shall not want,
he makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul
he guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake,
even though i walk,
through the valley of the shadow of death,
i will fear no evil,
for you are with me,
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me,
you prepare a table before me,
in the presence of my enemies,
you anoint my head with oil,
my cup overflows,
surely goodness and love will follow me,
all the days of my life,
and i will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I visited him and saw him still the same. He wasn't feeling any better. I reached out towards his hand and hand him a little note of Prayer and Psalm 23 in it. He open it up and said, thank you.. I could feel the sense of joy and happiness filled his spirit. He asked, "is this your hand writing? it looks like being printed out". I just smiled cos deep inside me, I was rejoicing silently. I have never seen his smile ever since I met him. It was great. Truly it was a BLESSING and the presence of the Lord was with me. He held my hand and was grateful. Jesus loves you, this you know.. Uncle, don't worry too much k cos God is with you. Get well soon and greater things is awaiting for you. ^.^God, continue to use me mightily and Your kingdom shall reign forever.

Till then...

Finding Peace in Uncertain Times

by Bobby Conner

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."—Romans 8:38-39

People world-over are increasingly desperate to know what tomorrow will bring, frantic to prepare for the future. Global changes are coming rapidly—and no sooner than we've adjusted to these changes, new realities explode into our world.

Will you have confidence or entertain chaos during these turbulent times?

Will you fear what tomorrow may bring...or rest secure in your Father's loving care?

On a scale of one to ten, just how worried are you about your financial security? Your health? Your family? Your community and nation?

How peaceful are you as you lay your head on the pillow at night?

Do you choose to trust in your Lord...or entertain doubt and unbelief?

The choice is up to you. The Lord God gives us the responsibility to exercise our free will—to believe, to trust and to rejoice. What will we choose—death or life, blessings or curses?

The answer is given to us by God: He specifically exhorts us to choose to be blessed, which requires us to "choose life":

"I call Heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live."—Deuteronomy 30:19

In order to discover hope and abide securely, we must embrace this truth: only as we turn our focus upon Christ the King—Life Himself—do we obtain true peace (Isaiah 26:3). He said He came to give us life "more abundantly":

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."—John 10:10

God Promises to Guide Us and Show Us Things to Come
To be sure, many Believers are not experiencing this life "more abundantly." And many unsaved in the world are choosing a frightful alternative—the occult. In response to the fear generated by the rapid change around us, society has seen a plethora of occult and demonic sources arise, with fortune tellers, astrologers and psychic hotlines pretending to peek into the mysteries of tomorrow. A Google search of "psychics" brings 4.3 million results! How many otherwise intelligent people glance at their "astrological signs" occasionally with the hope of finding direction? How many pay late-night psychic hotlines for a word of hope and encouragement?

Why do desperate people seek guidance and discernment from these so-called fortune tellers?

Might it be because the Church has been so silent concerning God's prophetic voice? Do we sincerely trust the Holy Spirit's constant help and guidance?

As followers of Christ, we have the very Spirit of God within us. We have full access to His divine wisdom—exceedingly far beyond anything else on earth! This is Good News!

"But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message (on His own authority); but He will tell whatever He hears (from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him), and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come (that will happen in the future)."—John 16:13 (Amplified Bible)

God's promise here is two-fold: the Spirit of truth will, without fail, guide us AND show us things to come.

This Greek word translated "show" is an extraordinary word that brings tremendous comfort and wisdom. The Greek anaggello is comprised of two parts, ana, that meansinto the midst, in the midst, amidst, among, between and the base of aggelos, which means a messenger, an angel, one sent from God. What does this mean? God will "show" us or anaggello us things to come—He will send us a messenger from eternity, an eternity that contains the future, to announce, make known, report back and bring tidings to us about tomorrow, next week, next month...or next year! This guarantee of future revelation is His Word to you, a promise which cannot fail.

Do you grasp the significance of this marvelous guarantee? The Lord Himself, before He suffered on the Cross, said it was to our "advantage" for Him to leave—so He could send this Helper to us, the Spirit of Truth:

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you."—John 16:7

This Helper will guide us not only into truth, but "into all truth"—revealing the full picture, the complete understanding of any situation we face, to the degree that He desires. God's people have tremendous power to understand "things to come." Meditate on this truth until you are fully persuaded that the Creator of the universe will indeed show you things to come and lead you into all truth!

We can see why God condemns and denounces all forms of astrology and psychic forecasting as demonic and fleshly. As a follower of Christ, we are not called to wonder about the future or to speculate, guess or even reason about potential events—but rather to see, know and understand the future through divine revelation for the glory of God and for His purposes. This understanding of "things to come" is not reserved for the prophets of the Church alone, but for the Blood-bought Believer who walks closely with the Holy Spirit, in holy reverence of the King: He reveals His secrets to His friends. Knowing "things to come" is the result of intimacy with God and thus having the mind of Christ, which is promised to Believers in 1 Corinthians 2:16:

"For 'who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?' But we have the mind of Christ."

Why Must We Learn to Live Every Day in Light of Revelatory Understanding?
Why must we learn to live every day in light of revelatory understanding? Receiving knowledge of the future is not for our own glory or purposes, but He gives prophetic insight to us to manifest His glory on earth—to pray His will on earth. In fact, each of us is called to manifest Heaven on earth through prayer and through the knowledge of His Word. This is the heart of "The Lord's Prayer" that we all have memorized: "On earth as it is in Heaven." Have we realized the tremendous power of this prayer?

"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."—Mark 11:24

"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."—1 John 5:14

You may have wondered, "How do I know what to pray?" Great question! The Lord Jesus told us plainly, "Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven'" (Matthew 6:9-10).

Prayer is not at all complicated—but receiving answers to our prayers requires faith. How do we engage faith through prophetic vision and receive His answers?

1. ASK to hear the Word: Jesus encourages us to pray and receive by faith—but first, faith must be received by hearing the Word (see Romans 10:17). This means a specific revelatory rhema Word for your situation. How do we receive this rhema Word?

2. SEEK the Spirit of Truth: We hear revelation concerning the future by the Spirit of Truth. The Spirit reveals all truth through the Word for our specific circumstance. Why is this so essential? When the Spirit of Truth "shows us things to come" through the Word, we know these "things" are His will. Once we are thus assured of His will, we can...

3. KNOCK on Heaven's door: When we can ask according to His revealed will, He hears us—and when we know He hears us, we know we have the answers to our prayers!

We are in a season that God will answer your prayers:

"For He says: 'In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.' Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."—2 Corinthians 6:2

"Thus says the LORD: 'In an acceptable time I have heard You, and in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You as a covenant to the people, to restore the earth, to cause them to inherit the desolate heritages...'"—Isaiah 49:8

God has promised that if you will ask, seek and knock now, according to His will, He will answer your prayers—and your joy will overflow!

"Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."—John 16:24

Hear this, beloved: this is not the time to attempt to direct your own path with mere human wisdom! Scripture warns that there is a way that seems right unto man, but the end of that way leads to death and despair (see Proverbs 14:12).

In Romans 8:1-4, we discover that it is absolutely essential to fix our mind on the Word of God, the Spirit of life—to walk "according to the Spirit":

"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."

The Greek word translated "walk" is a comprehensive word, peripateo, that means not only physical walking but how we make due use of opportunities, how we progress, how we conduct ourselves and regulate our lives. To make godly and righteous use of opportunities—knowing the mind of Christ and the will of God in these uncertain times—is crucial for every Believer.

In short, we will have peace and confidence if we live under the direction of God's Spirit. We may choose not to follow His directions, however. How do we make this grievous mistake? Romans 8:6 explains, "For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."

We err when we set our mind on the flesh—on our human reasonings and speculations. Only the Spirit of God knows the will of God...and He will show us things to come.

Will Faith or Fear Guide Your Life?
We can ponder the conditions of the world and grow faint and fearful—or we can set our focus upon the precious promises of God and "be of good courage" (Joshua 1:9). If we pray for the reality of God's Kingdom to manifest on earth, God
will bring revival. Christ calls us to pray for God's Kingdom to manifest in our world today.

Do not complain about current events—pray.
Do not fret over what tomorrow may bring—pray.
Do not dwell on the bad reports—stand on God's promises to you and pray!

Never doubt that God has good plans for your future:

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."—Jeremiah 29:11

This Hebrew word translated "thoughts" is machashabah—a wonderful word that meansdevices, plans, purposes—and inventions! God is constantly inventing wonderful victories for you in His Spirit. He is planning lavish blessings for you so you may be a blessing to others. He longs to love you extravagantly, imparting to you the knowledge of Himself and the future He holds for you and your loved ones, for the unsaved and His Church...for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (see Colossians 2:3).

And this promise of hope is not only for you, but for your children:

"There is hope in your future, says the LORD, That your children shall come back to their own border."—Jeremiah 31:17

What will tomorrow look like if God answers "The Lord's Prayer" that Christ gave us? What will tomorrow look like if we pray, "On earth as it is in Heaven," in every area of our lives and cultures—based on knowing the "things to come" that the Spirit of Truth reveals? We have been given the power in prayer to reshape culture according to God's Kingdom purposes, to change our world dramatically for God's glory.

Read the Gospels. In them we see a model of God's Kingdom manifested in Christ. Jesus Christ is a faith picture of God's Kingdom. Why is this so extraordinary? Why is this truth the cause for eternal rejoicing? Jesus said that we can have the same manifestation of God's power as Jesus Himself had! Didn't He say that as My Father has sent Me, I am sending you?

"So Jesus said to them again, 'Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.'"—John 20:21

This wee word "as" has mighty power. "As" the Father sent Jesus, Jesus is sending us! This Greek word translated as is kathos—and it means according as, just as, even as, in proportion as, in the degree that! In the same proportion as the Father sent Christ, Christ sends us. To the degree that the Father sent Christ, Christ sends us! The same proportion, the same degree, the same as!

"So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them."—Matthew 21:6

As it is written, as Jesus told them, as it was in the days of Noah! We must reckon with this small word, as this is what the Lord died to obtain for us—union with Him!

In fact, He actually commanded us to pray, "On earth as it is in Heaven."

Here is a profound truth that we must grasp: the reality God has planned for earth will manifest first in the prayer life of His children. When you hear from God through the Spirit of Truth and then pray His Word, knowing His will, you are impacting the unformed essence of life with the Spirit of God Himself.

"I Have Put My Words in Your Mouth"
Meditate on Jeremiah 1:9-10:

"Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: 'Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.'"

God calls us not only to ask and seek for the revelation of His Word through the Spirit of Truth—but to then pray this Word, decreeing the Word on earth as it is in Heaven.

This is a privilege and blessing beyond compare!

Although many may "declare and decree" as a matter of protocol in prayer, the Word we pray must first become revelatory, bone of our bones and flesh of our flesh, through meditation in the Word and an intimate encounter with the living God. When this Word becomes a living reality, a beloved Presence, the truth of God will move from our head to our heart. We absolutely must mature...from just knowing the Word of God in our head (intellectualizing God's Word) to living God's Word in our heart, being literally impregnated by His divine seed.

Nothing is more critical than God's revelatory Word in this hour. We must receive therhema Word of God for this time and season, for our loved ones and nations, and speak forth that Word boldly in prayer, nothing wavering, fully persuaded that we are praying His will, that He hears us and that He is answering even as we pray!

The Lord said in Jeremiah that He has "put My words in your mouth." When we speak His Word, we have the same power that spoke the worlds into existence...in our mouths! This Hebrew word for "mouth" (or peh) comes from an extremely powerful root pa'ah—which means to cleave in pieces, break into pieces, to dash and shatter. That is the power resident in our mouth when we speak the rhema Word of God—the revealed Word planted within our spirit by the Spirit of Truth. This cleaving and breaking and shattering through the Word cannot be imitated by mere head-knowledge of the Word.

The enemy knows those who carry His authority and those who do not: "And the evil spirit answered and said, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?'" (Acts 19:15). We must be fully persuaded, nothing wavering—and this type of persuasion is not mere mental assent. The words "in your mouth" that shatter and cleave, that bring Heaven to earth, come through the Holy Spirit—through our spirit, not our mind.

Indeed, God is calling us to understand the depths of what it means to see and know the mind of the Spirit, deep unto deep.

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..."—Ephesians 3:20

God is calling us to develop a sanctified imagination, for it is with the "eyes of the heart" or "understanding" that great prayers are conceived. Paul prays that "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might" (Ephesians 1:18-19).

As we wait upon God in prayer, the Holy Spirit can cause us to visualize the plans and purposes of God—for everything good and holy that we see manifested in people, in churches and in life, is first conceived through an impregnated seed of a rhema Word in the womb of prayer and then birthed through faith, working by love (see Galatians 5:6).

Right Now You Have Resurrection Power Attached to Your Prayer Life!
If you are a Christian, there is a power accompanying your life that is greater than great—the "surpassing greatness of His power." This is not a merely human power, but the actual "strength of His might." Let this take root deep in your heart: the strength of God Almighty, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, is at work within your prayer life! The power of God's might is His resurrection power. What does resurrection mean? It means that things which look dead, smell dead, and act dead can be touched by God and raised to life! God demonstrated this "power toward us who believe" first "in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the Heavenly places" (Ephesians 1:19-20).

Right now, you have resurrection power attached to your prayer life!

Right now, you can look on things that are absolutely dead and pray forth eternal LIFE!

Right now, the power in us is the same potency God demonstrated when He raised Jesus out of the grave; it is resurrection power.

Your mission? To decree resurrection life into situations that are dead, praying that God's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

If the devil challenges your prayer, remind him that you are seated with Christ, "far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come" (Ephesians 1:21).

Not just "above all rule and authority..." but "far above."

Christ's authority is final, far above any other authority—even the evidence we receive from our five physical senses, the nightly news and the bottom line of our bank accounts.

Not only has the Father put "all things in subjection under His feet," but He "gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all" (Ephesians 1:22-23). Notice the Lord uses anatomical metaphors to explain the down-line of authority: Christ is the "head" of a "body" that has all things put under its "feet." This is a most profound understanding of our role: what the Head, Christ, has attained, the feet of the Church walk out.

In other words, God has positioned the Church as the living bridge between the terrible conditions on earth and the wonderful solutions from Heaven!

Meditate on this life-changing prayer: "On earth as it is in Heaven." Choose to settle for nothing less than this.

Is this boldness in prayer presumptuous? Prideful? Arrogant?

May it never be! Consider the suffering King of Israel on the Cross, stripped, scourged and crucified. Consider the sacrificial death He died so we could be granted access to His Father and our Father—and it is the "Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom" (Luke 12:32). He died to give us abundant life! Contend for abundant life—and abundant souls for the Kingdom—"to win for the Lamb the reward of His sufferings," as the Moravians prayed.

As we truly, passionately and accurately submit to Christ through prayer, through the Word of God and through the Spirit of Truth, the Kingdom of Heaven steadily enters our now-prayed-for world. The key, of course, is to know Christ's Word and obey without hesitation. Remember that it is His Word, not ours. We do not have authority; Christ has authority. What we have is revelation and submission—and as we submit to the Word and persevere in prayer, we can see the future conformed to God's will. Amen!
